Alienware announces its AW2521H monitor with 360Hz IPS panel

Looking to compete against Asus' ROG Swift 360Hz, Alienware announced its new AW2521H monitor with a 24.5 ″ IPS panel with 360Hz refresh rate and 1920 × 1080 resolution , designed 100% for competitive gamers.

The company did not give many details about the monitor since it is not yet 100% ready to go on sale, although it confirmed that it will support both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD Freesync , allowing synchronization of the GPU and the monitor regardless of whether we use AMD or we use Nvidia.

Another important information that we can get from the statement is that surely the Asus monitor also uses this same IPS panel, and not a TN panel as was initially believed. Recall that Asus did not detail the type of panel, so this Alienware announcement could also give us information about that monitor.

Both models will arrive in the second half of this year , although there are still no definite dates for either of them. It is probably due to some delay in the delivery of the final versions of these panels, since they are the first to work with such a high refresh rate. There are also no details on the prices of any of them.
